Let’s get the band back together

This piece is a continuation of the series Fallen Idols 1 & Fallen Idols 2. My work explores the symbolism of skulls and the strong message they send, clearly demonstrating here that 2 of the iconic band members have left this mortal realm, the lightly illustrated skulls on the 2 members still alive signify the mortality we all face eventually. The layering of colours and textures and small pieces that can be found in this work all relate to the subject from the Union Jack, the hand written video notes to the grille pattern of the Vox amps used by the band.
